Time Inc. UK’s digital brands solution business Collective UK triumphed in four categories at the recent prestigious Institute of Practitioners in Advertising (IPA) Media Owner and Ad:tech Awards 2017.
For the third year running, Collective UK won the Most Innovative Media Owner award, as well as receiving gongs for Best Media Owner and Best Media Owner Partner. Meanwhile, Lauren Alderton was named Sales Newcomer of the Year, and Rob Trotter received a Highly Commended in the Rising Star of the Year category.
The IPA Media Owner Awards showcases best practice in the service levels that online media owners provide to agencies, with the aim of raising the digital standard in general. It rewards key attributes from the IPA’s bi-annual online Survey, which covers innovation, partnership and overall service. The Survey collects over 350 responses from agencies and has been carried out biannually since April 2007 by digital planners, strategists, buyers and specialists in IPA member media agencies.
“The strength of Collective’s performance is evident not just in the pure survey figures for [Best Media Owner],” said the IPA. “Not only did they place first in the Spring survey and first in the Autumn survey, they also picked up two further survey-based awards for the first time. This builds on a strong history with the awards in the previous three years. A justly deserved win.”
